My “more to come” update was a little delayed. These pics are gettin’ stale! Anyway this is kinda how the rest of the trip went. I pressured some of our boys n girls into a yoga class. We literally ran full speed the whole way because: a) we were late and b) it was freezing and we didn’t wanna die on the streets of Montreal. After yoga my boyfriend had a phone interview so we chilled at Kitsune and sipped on delicious caffeinated beverages.
When he finished his interview, we popped in next door Juliette and Chocolate for crepes!
Mine were buckwheat crepes with goat cheese, pears, and honey.
Before we knew it, we had to say our goodbyes to Reid!
Enroute to Toronto, we took a much needed stretch in a very cute little shop in Kingston, ON.
The next day we watched this stunner of a bride and her man, say their “I Dos” …
Performer from Christian Mingle ;) I’ll leave that as an inside joke.
Sunday I was pleasantly surprised to meet up with some old friends – they introduced us to a very authentic Indian place for some Sunday grub.
The plates get 0 points but the food gets 1000. It was soo good.
And then we checked out the new Ripley’s Aquarium! It’s very well done. Very cool.
You walk through this inner-tube like thing and sharks are swimming all over the place. How often do you see the underbelly of a shark?
Photo Op :)
I stayed an extra couple days with the girls (flight savings) but then I actually got delayed a week because of all the storms in TO! I was full-on working though, so I set up shop in their living room (thank goodness for my mobile printer) and it was great.
Occasionally I dodged out to a coffee shop for a change of pace.
One evening we went rock-climbing (my first time!) which was kinda neat! And then we grabbed sushi …
I can’t rave enough about these girls. Seriously. They are SO full of talent and each pursuing really interesting things. Playing the cello and the accordian one night …
Also – check out Rebeccah’s blog – this girl amazes me. She does woodworking, custom leather making, photography and graphic design! And everything she creates is fine art. I was super inspired hanging out with these ladies.
The week flew and I was soon on the plane to Calgary, where I picked up my car, drove straight to Saskatoon and arrived (late) to another one of our friends’ weddings. And then drove to Regina Saturday for another wedding!! I think our wedding run is complete now though. Until the next round of engagements … !
