In typical Amanda fashion I spent too long in Forever XXI and left about half an hour to shower and get ready for The Nutcracker. Regardless it was an amazing show and highly entertaining. Plus we had a box all to ourselves!

Unfortunately, our quest to find a cute place after the show was a major fail. However we made up for it the next night when we joined Reid at a cozy romantic spot.

Who would think that steak and peppercorn and poutine would be such a flippin’ mouthwatering combo …

I had duck, and I wished I had poutine :P

Reido had salmon which was perfecto.

This one’s for you Lori – your boy can cook (Reid’s creation).

We took a day trip to Mont Tremblant – after the first poutine success we decided to try another. Great for the arteries.

Since we were on a roll, we tried out the homemade maple syrup candy.

This guy pours it on the snow, you wait 30 seconds, and then roll it up into a tasty little maple syrup sucker.

This place is adorable.

Juice: an effort to compensate for some of the naughtiness we’d been consuming.

We shared an antipasto platter …

And a seafood and caper pizza. Mmm mm mm.

And then topped the day off with hot chocolate and cookies.

  1. Wow the pictures of all the food alone is amazing! Sweet to see where Reid’s at a bit and all the fancy things you guys got up to doing! It was awesome to see you here in Toronto briefly too! You make me want to really go visit Montreal now!

  2. Awesome photos, Amanda! It’s nice to see some quality photos of Reid, too. The only photos I get from him are snapchats…
