I don’t think one Calgarian could have predicted it would get this bad. The powerful, rushing rivers slowly and surely expanded into the streets and flooded many neighborhoods. And as this was happening, it continued to pour so hard that we thought it might never end! I made a comfort meal of potato soup and biscuits for my boys.
Finally, in the late afternoon, the rain stopped and the sun came out. And so did all the spectators and SLRs. So, tired of being couped up in the house, we joined the masses to document the craziness.

A day for the history books. Now is when I’m glad we live on higher ground.
