10 days of sheer bliss!!!! A trip I will never forget ❤
Whoa – that’s a lot of months all in one. Whoopsie. Sorry folks, but it’s a little indication of how fast it all went. I actually feel a sense of relief having all this under our belt. Here goes…
We scouted out a pretty stellar location for this years Corporate Xmas party, this back in October. A new place just outside of Saskatoon called Crossmount. Seriously love what they are doing in this area.
An evening at Pike Lake with some friends.
Birthday lunch for a special guy.
Applying decals when it’s frigid requires a unique system!
What do ya know, he’s walkin’ the bike again!!
Workin’ from Regina cafe – Brewed Awakening
Drinks of choice!
Pedicures back when we had time for pedicures.
A series of hilarious snaps from my bro 😂 Seriously though. Is it just cuz he’s my brother that I find these so funny?
Found this too funny for my own good… 😂
Leyda’s pizza delivered to our door one day when I was extra tired.
The Safety Video I was filming for in previous posts … well the deadline snuck up on me pretty quick, meaning a 3am-the-night-before finish.
Shots From Our First Ever Annual Safety Summit
Such a bossypants I am! 😁
Mom’s birthday dessert at Calories!
Designs for Xmas Party favors
Always a good lunch at Leyda’s!
Snuck up north for a weekend to see these cuties!
Ahhh … nothin’ like fresh juice.
Winter walks and husbands that don’t like photos are the bomb.
Yoga project for Live Green pillar.
Walk in fresh BC air when out for Dane’s grandpas funeral.
Mugs in hand! Just in time!
Oh boy, this is me acting up a storm for a game we played at the Xmas party titiled “Guess Who”. We did mini skits mimicking certain people in the company and handed out prizes to whoever could guess who were acting as. It was actually fun to think of all the quirks people (including me) have and just laugh at/with them.
This one took the cake for most embarrassing but probably also most hilarious. I was acting as Dad in the early am when he’s just went crazy on Richie Bros.
THRIVE! Thank goodness for Thrive during the week of the party. Back-to-back all-nighters left me depleted so this ultra-healthy food kept me going.
Little sis working hard on accounting in our other office. Seriously, she is a go-getter.
The day after our Xmas Party, we ripped to Regina for Dane’s new firm’s Xmas Party!
This here is feedback from my amazing Moksha mentor(s) from the whole fall. Yes, they took notes while I was teaching. Sometimes nerve-wracking but honestly was so incredibly helpful and I am forever grateful for their time.
A classic post-safety meeting shot. Love these guys.
The excess greenery was thrown together to make our front office a little more festive.
That’s a trimmed-down version of those 3 months 😛 Fun times.
I have a sweet friend and cousin who is a young fashion designer. I think she is just bursting with talent and skill. In October we did a mini-shoot to capture some of her beautiful creations. Sharing with you here just a small taste of the shoot (don’t want to use all the photos that she may use for promo!). Check her out on instagram @cedarandvine to stay in the loop with her latest and greatest!
Always a good time ❤
Andy why you collecting golf balls? We came here for ducks member?
So stern Rocko.
Shee-nanigans that made me very nervous!
I always find the hunting so restful – course I’m not shooting cuz I am practically half-blind. But sitting out in the tall grass just looking at the sky is pretty alright with me.
It’s become a habit to leave the party early in order to catch part of ma famille’s thanksgiving weekend too. These little girls thought they were pretty high class to be drinking from the fancy punch glasses :)
An accidental shot that I kinda love.
The Courster and I at Starbies.
I ❤ ❤ fall!! So much. Beautiful.
This fall I went on a video/photo-shooting rampage. I created a company safety video that was focused on safe railroad practices and collected promotional footage to be used on future editions of our websites and stuff. It was actually a fairly insane amount of work – but super fun. This post is dedicated to the behind-the-scenes photos of me and my partners-in-crime as we chased trains and annoyed employees :)
Shooting with the drone made it extra interesting!
An early morning drive to catch the train rewarded us with stunning views.
Sadly, this day turned out to be too foggy for the poor drone. I’d take it up for a quick flight and within seconds, the condensation from the fog would make the camera completely useless.
But a couple days later, another opportunity came. This day was clear as they come and I was pretty stoked with the footage me and little sis got.
On the way home, we were passing Gardiner Dam and she says “hey, I did my grade 5 heritage fair on this” – so naturally I made her pose for a photo pretending to be excited about it (but of course, she’s much too cool to actually be excited for real).
Attempting to get the mud chunks off the wheel wells of a crew van kinda took a turn for the worse. No water pressure made it sloppier than this photo even illustrates.
Getting the boys to do yoga for the safety video – stay limber, stay safe ;)
And that’s it in a nutshell!
Oh iPhone… comin’ to the rescue for lazy old me pretty much all fall. These are a few memories from August and September that I love even though I don’t have hi-qual shots to remember them by.
Drift with my favorite sister-in-law ❤ Ain’t she cute!
Roadies to Calgary – I think this mighta been an IKEA trip ;)
Hoodoos on the way home!
Funny snapshots from my brothers… I have quite the collection. (DT’s is the restaurant in Eston that a lot of our crew lives off of.)
Visiting husband in Regina shop.
How this conversation went…
Dane: ok that’s enough pictures already
Me: wait wait I didn’t get it yet
Dane: **walks away, refusing
Dane: what, seriously, how would you like it if I was always snapping photos of you
Me: I’d love it!
Dane: ok give me the phone
**snaps a million photos (too many to post!)
Calzones and Caesar Salad at Cappana Pizzeria in Saskatoon.
Another funny snapchat 😂 Not funny for the boy fixing though.
Riveting work projects …
We moved in September! From one basement suite to another 😂 Every time we move, I go through a phase of utter chaos until I get it looking/feeling half decent. Usually there’s about 3-5 art projects on the go, newspaper and paint everywhere, plus unpacked boxes and laundry piling up … huge mess.
Another supper out at Seoul – Korean BBQ restaurant in Saskatoon.
A trip to Regina and meals with the Afflecks one weekend – our Aussie counterparts are expert pavlova makers ❤ Drool.
Everybody has a serious love on for baby Z.
Oh and this gaffer! Not short of admirers.
GROW project begins…
Pretty drives through the prairies ❤
Lunch date at Ayden with my favorite gal.
We love their all-beef hotdog with cream cheese, avocado, sriracha, sprouts, etc. Deadly combo.
Ok this selfie only happened because I was cruising the town in a Porsche!! Wow – I do have a new favorite vehicle. I thought I only liked old vehicles until I ripped around in one of these.
Yoga teaching begins! This was the first of many practice teaches. Thankful for the friends that supported me throughout the fall ❤
Pretty obvious which bro this one came from. Yep, he gets spoiled! (My husband is not so lucky!)
GROW project continues…
Spoiled with a precious gift … ❤
I can be domesticated (it’s just low on my list of priorities!) …
A sign for our office to inspire us 2 gals …
Ma’s pies ❤
It’s a good weekend when you’re sent home with a ton of canned goods from your ambitious mother! Applesauce, relishes, jams, syrups – all homemade!
